With a large scale video that simulates a video game environment and multiple images displayed by the boys, you can't help but to ask:
'What's it all about? How was it made?'
Well Big Bang has released a MV Making (with subs! Yay!) for us to have a peek into the behind the scenes and hear what they think. If only the video was longer......
Remember to turn on CC for the subs!
Once again, the finished product for your eyes and ears only ;)
Here you go as promised! Big Bang's Monster video with Eng subs and romanized lyrics. The song is made especially more meaningful since it was penned by both GD and Daesung.
On one level, the song is about loving and needing a girl so much, the guy don't understand why she's still leaving and declares that he's not a monster. Looking deeper into the lyrics, especially the first few lines, it's almost a confession of what GD and Daesung went through last year,'I act like it's fine. I try to change the subject' and 'Everyone may look at me with judging eyes' and reflects on the reaction they received - of people viewing them like they're monsters.
(Hey, the song is open to interpretation, right?)
Anyhow, it's still an AWESOME song as always and is visually captivating. I know there are mixed reactions about the hairstyles and all but hey, Big Bang is anything but ordinary ;)
Although BIG BANG has been actively conducting their 'Alive World Tour', they're sure to remind the WORLD of their existence and that they're here to stay. As expected of Big Bang, their music is nothing but the best but their hairstyles might be a different case. First, GD's 'Mushroom Hair' and now they give Taeyang...HORNS? ahahaha! BUT STILL. It's all about the music. I shall update again when the music video is subbed.
