SAKIGAKE'S YG BUILDING TOUR WITH BIG BANG!

HELLO HELLO! :D

We've waited a LONGGGGGGG TIME to get a glimpse into the YG FAMILY BUILDING and finally, we actually get a tour with the BIG BANG members themselves! 

Everything that we've heard about the building was spot on as the facilities that YG provides his artists with creates a conducive environment for amazing music to be made. 

WOW, FANTASTIC BABY! 

Sorry, just had to do that. 

Anywayyyyyyy, it's evident that Papa YG cherishes his artists very much as practically EVERY floor of the building has posters/figures of them. Not to mention how futuristic the whole building looks, starting from the L.E.D. screens playing music videos of YG artists next to the elevator. There's a super comfortable-looking cafeteria, a pool table in the relaxation area, a gym to workout (and we get to see Hwangssabu too!), LARGE dance studios and the infamous recording studio that we've seen during 2NE1/BIGBANGTV :)

All in all, I'd just like to ask, 

"CAN I LIVE THERE?!"

I don't know about you but man, am I getting exhausted keeping up with our YG artists! Well, technically it's mostly Big Bang and 2NE1 but you get what I mean. Not that I'm complaining...I'm just soaking in their fantastic audio and visual productions.

This time around, it's more of an interview with Will.i.am who is currently in Korea as part of his project to visit 12 countries to indulge in the various music scenes and be inspired. He's an artistic genius so I'm just waiting for the different flavoured tracks.

The video's not subbed but hey, he's speaking in English and I bet you can make out the questions from his answers. Listen to the man from Black Eyed Peas speak about his plans, and of course - 2NE1! It's adorable how they have this close relationship and he describes each of the fabulous ladies! Well, he sort of mimics Dara (and doing a good job, if I may add)

THIS IS IT EVERYONE!

Yes, I know it's been a while since their season ended and I'm really sorry that I've not posted up their FINAL episode!

It's just heartbreaking, with this being their LAST episode to not only Season 3 of 2NE1 TV but to the whole series! You read it right, there is NOT going to be anymore 2NE1 TV and that's just upsetting!!! I know we'll definitely miss the girls and their quirky personalities.

Suppose it's for the better since 2NE1 will be taking on the American market this year and it'd just be overwhelming for them with so much work. Nevertheless, you will always have our support 2NE1!!!

This episode shows our favourite girls hard at work for their Japanese tour and be warned; it is an emotional episode being the closing chapter of the series that got us to know CL, Bom, Dara and Minzy. Watching them on stage just makes me wish I can watch them live! Don't think this desire will be going away anytime soon...

2NE1 ON MTV IGGY'S 'BEST NEW BAND IN THE WORLD 2011'

ARE YOU READY FOR THE B.E.S.T?!

2NE1 WAS CROWNED 'BEST NEW BAND IN THE WORLD' ON MTV IGGY! 

The girls were in New York to receive their award on MTV Iggy as well as perform their songs live in Times Square. THESE GIRLS TOTALLY KILLED IT! No words can express how proud I am of their achievement and how much I'm looking forward to their U.S. debut! The anticipation is just high and constantly risingggggg! Okay, before I go into details about their performance, let me just give a LOUD SHOUTOUT to all the BLACKJACKS AROUND THE WORLD who voted for 2NE1. You guys did a GREATTTTTTTTT JOB and deserve a pat on the back! Not only that, I was really happy to see SOOOOOOOOOOO MANY BLACKJACKS eagerly waiting for 2NE1's performance in Times Square. You guys were so energetic and LOUD! Singing along to every song 2NE1 performed, I felt like we were all connected through 2NE1's AMAZING music. It doesn't matter if you were black, white, brown, pink or blue, we're all just BLACKJACKS. PROUD BLACKJACKS! Oh, by the way, I swear I saw Lady Gaga and Snoop Dogg in the crowds. Or was it just me? Were they there? If they were, I'm sure they're just totally blown over by 2NE1's live performance! 

Okay, so a few minutes before 2NE1 stepped on stage, they kept repeating the beginning of '내가 제일 잘 나가' (I AM THE BEST) and it was nerve wrecking! Can you imagine standing there and just WAITINGGGGGGGG for your idols to appear?! What a way to heighten the suspense! I would totally be out of my mind and screaming my lungs out along with other Blackjacks. When 2NE1 came out, the crowd went WILD. They performed 'FIRE' first and honestly, it wasn't their best performance. It could be the nerves but it was obvious that a few parts of the song sounded flat. But who cares? SEEING THEM ON STAGE WAS JUST CRAZYYYYYYYY. The energy was overflowing and everyone was psyched. 

They transitioned straight into 'CAN'T NOBODY' and this performance was great! When CL shouted, "ARE YOU GUYS READY TO JUMP WITH ME?", guess what the crowd did? They caused an earthquake! It was crazyyyyy funnnnnnnnnn. Watching it is incomparable to actually being there. I wasn't even there but I could feel the high energy. And did anyone notice Youngbae's female dancer who was there? Papa YG sure sent out his BEST TEAM and made sure 2NE1 looked good; which they did. Dressed in all-black, the dancers were perfect too. The guys AND girls were a nice touch to the performance and I'M SURE some of em' were cute. hehh. Sue me. 

After that, they slowed it down by performing their hit single, 'LONELY' and I honestly applaud the girls for even being able to SING after jumping around like that. I don't know HOW or WHEN they caught their breath but they performed the song so beautifully. I really admire them cause they HAVE the vocal talent and they're not just trying to sell you sex appeal or surface beauty, they're giving you REAL, RAW TALENT. They don't need to dress up in skimpy clothes for you to buy their albums, they sell you their individuality, personality and sound. That's what makes 2NE1 awesome. 

BUT WAIT! After they performed 'LONELY', they were just standing there. And my heart dropped thinking, "THAT'S IT?! WHAT ABOUT '내가 제일 잘 나가' (I AM THE BEST)?????" 

THEN BAAAAMMMMMMMMM! They hit you with the starting music for that song and you're like "OMGOGMOGMOGMGOMGOMGOGMOGMGOMG!" Undoubtedly, it was the BESTTTTTTTTT performance of the night and they REALLY SENT THE CROWD JUMPING. They were so charismatic and had so much SWAG, it was just the right song to end the evening. Honestly, NO OTHER GIRL GROUP would be able to perform this song cause it has '2NE1' stamped all over it. You can't carry this song unless maybe you're BIG BANG. lolll. Since BB performed it during the YG FAMILY CONCERT. (I'll do another post on that soon) It was especially meaningful since it was 2NE1's first time meeting with their American Blackjacks and performing there. 2NE1 made sure everyone knew they were
THE BEST before ending their "mini-concert", leaving fans screaming and wanting moreeeeeeeeee. But no, that's all, folks. 

That was it. The performance that left everyone breathless.

As we are nearing the finale of Season 3, we are treated to behind the scenes and even ACTUAL FOOTAGE of 2NE1 in action in their first ever NOLZA CONCERT!!!

I sure wish I would be able to attend their concert and see them live in person but until then, I'd say watching 2NE1 tv and how they rock the show is just as good as it gets!

You can't just 'Go Away' when the girls are on 'Fire' and say 'I Am The Best'. Follow suit in their 'Can't Nobody' attitude to take on life and when people get you down, just put on your 'I Don't Care' look and stride away with dignity.

If you thought that their Japanese 'Lonely' video captured the sadness and feeling of being alone, this version of 'Go Away' captures perfectly the positive spirit of telling someone who is bringing you down to simply GO AWAY.

I love how this video incorporates their stage act. It's filled with so much fun and if you notice, it has elements of the girls in it with DaDoong (Dara's brother's cat), Dougie (Minzy's dog), a GIANT corn in the scene of Boom in the bath tub and awesome style and flair from the baddest female, CL!

2NE1 Lonely Teaser (Japanese Version)

Remember a few months back when 2NE1 blew everyone's mind with their single, 'Lonely' that showcased all four girls' vocal talents before taking over the Korean music charts with their second album?

Well, now that they're advancing into the Japanese market, they're releasing a new MV for this hit single!

The song still sounds as good!! Of course, there's NO disappointment fashion wise either as 2NE1 showcases their unique style. Maybe it's just me but I think the autumn/winter clothing is very appropriate with the 'cold parting' theme of the song ;)

2NE1 TV SEASON 3 (EPISODE 11- LIVE WORLDWIDE WITH ENG SUBS )

2NE1 TV EPISODE 11 IS BACK! This episode is ALL ABOUT the pets in the 2ne1 member's lives. Minzy got herself a puppy which she named Dougie (like the dance move, Dougie~) while Dara's brother, Cheondung (Mblaq) got a kitten named Dadoong. Dara immediately became the kitty's aunt and watching this episode, you will see Dara's amazing transformation as she overcomes her fears of pets and tries her best to get close to both Dadoong and Dougie :)  To everyone's surprise, she succeeds in conquering her fear! Besides that, Bom's two dogs that are at her mother's place gets airtime too! Choco and Danchu (Button) are the love of her life and of course, she praises them like a proud mother even when everyone else were infatuated with Minzy's new baby, Dougie. Dougie has this super cute expression when she tilts her head from side to side whenever she's intrigued with sounds. Did I also mention Dougie becomes a little obese for her age? ahahah! CL loves pets too but there was a fortune teller who told her that her energy's too strong and that she shouldn't raise animals T____T  It's okay. She can still play with her member's pets :) Watch the episode below to experience the cuteness of 2ne1 as well as their pets! :D
