[PREVIEW] HENNESSY ARTISTRY 2011 (PART II)

YES, YOU'VE READ RIGHT!
The second Hennessy Artistry for Year 2011 has arrived! And I don't know if it's just a coincidence but it always seem to happen when I want a night to let loose and chill. Taking place in Mist Club, Bangsar on the 9th of July this time around, I'm sure it's going to be bigger and better than the last.

Performers Beautiful Beat Girls, Trimix and Reshmonu will be attending as well. 

If you're not excited about that, think about the free flow of their four signature Hennessy V.S.O.P long drinks which would definitely tickle your taste buds. (Don't forget to appoint a designated driver for the night!)

Still not convinced? Its famed interactive platform, the Hennessy Mixing Zone will also mark its return and will feature four fun, engaging and experiential zones:

1. Hennessy Mixing Bar – a bar where fans will be taught how to mix any of the four signature Hennessy V.S.O.P long drinks (Hennessy Citrus, Hennessy Berry, Hennessy Ginger, and Hennessy Apple)

2. Hennessy Music Mix Synth — where revellers will be given the chance to create their own tunes by selectively choosing to place 15 circular cubes on a react table (each cube represents a different music element, i.e: guitar, drums, etc) to allow them to experience the true meaning of “The Global Art of Mixing” through the blending of their very own tunes.

3. Hennessy iMix Challenge – an area where party-goers can try their hands at Hennessy’s newly developed iPad game which requires guests to slice up ingredients which are found in Hennessy V.S.O.P’s signature long drinks. The top 5 high scores screened on an LCD leaderboard will each take home a bottle of limited edition Hennessy V.S.O.P Helios.   

4. Hennessy Interactive Photowall – a green screen photography area where revellers can enhance their photos digitally by choosing and inserting different visual backgrounds and shout out phrases.

HENNESSY ARTISTRY 2011

Helllllooooo peeps!

As promised, I will be blogging about the Hennessy Artistry 2011 event that I've recently attended with none other than YJ anddddddd *drumrolls*
MY GRANDMA! :D
Seriously, if there was an award for the Coolest Grandma, she'd totally own it. She's the person whom we drink with occasionally and pour our hearts out to. <3

Although I wasn't too sure if she enjoyed the blasting club music and overly crowded room, she sure loved the drinks that kept on coming! 

Before entering the event, we got to take a picture on the red carpet. Celebrity style :p

My brother and I got to hang out too! :D (Although he was busy socializing with others most of the time)  ehehehe. Don't tell him I said that! D:

What can I say about the event? Yes, it was at a much smaller scale compared to last year's but that doesn't mean people did not party twice as hard as they did last year! The Opera was a little too small for the coverage of such a popular event though since the whole club was packed and I felt like I was in the sauna most of the time. Brushing shoulders with cuties is one thing, but having to jam your elbows into other people in order for them  to move out of the way is another thing. Imagine how sweaty everyone was! *ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww~* AHAHAHAHA! The other thing that I wasn't especially fond off was how ALMOST EVERYONE in the club was smoking like a chimney! I know you must be going like, "What is she talking about? IT'S A CLUB!" Yeah, I know that and I didn't want to be petty but seriously? Must so many people smoke? Don't they know the EFFECTS OF SMOKING?!? *stands up to grab my Biology book*. ahahaha. Can you imagine being in a SMALL CLUB with an OVER-SIZED CROWD that smokes? If the venue was a little bigger, perhaps I wouldn't have felt so suffocated. But hey, that's just me. Someone else reading this post could really be addicted to being a passive smoker. You would never know! Just sayin'!

The GREATTTTTTTTT thing about this event, however, which helps to cancel out most of the points above would be the superb service. I swear I was holding a glass of either Hennessy Apple or Hennessy Berry the whole night. (Not that I mind, though. eheheh) No, don't look at me like I'm some kind of alcoholic! I AM NOT! I only had 3 glasses and frankly speaking it was quite enough. I didn't need to get drunk to have fun. Just sipping on my tasteful drink slowly and bobbing my head to the AMAZING songs being played made me feel like KING! Or queen. Oh, and another thing, the DJ in-charge was totally awesome. The song choices were superb and it totally got the crowd rushing to the dance floor! 

It was definitely a night to remember. And although I may have came across as some whiny kid that's really petty, I actually truly enjoyed myself that night. This is what we call experience, right? If you've got an opportunity to attend something like this yourself, GO FOR IT! :)

HENNESSY ARTISTRY 2011, HERE I COME!

What's up, peeps? :D
I have great news for y'all!

IT'S FINALLY HERE! IT'S BACK AT OUR SHORES AND READY TO SWEEP US OFF OUR FEET ONCE AGAIN!

If you guys have checked out last year's blog post on Hennessy Artistry posted by PJ and liked what you saw, be prepared for more mind-blowing coverage as I will be attending the country's most talked about party, H-Artistry "The Global Art of Mixing" this year. To those of you who have no clue on what Hennessy Artistry is all about, let's just say that you can expect rocking music, tantalizing Hennessy V.S.O.P signature long drinks, a wild crowd and most importantly, it's a night for you to let loose. 


I mean, seriously, I don't know if it's just me but college is becoming so stressful these days, I'm barely surviving. Is everyone feeling that way or did April's fool depart a little earlier than expected? It must be the upcoming mocks and examinations that's driving me up the wall. Well, at least now I have the Hennessy Artistry on the 30th of April to close this "depressing" month with a BANG!

Not only that, party-goers coming into the party this year will receive a new radio-frequency identification (RFID) wristband that allows them to log on to their respective Facebook accounts and automatically post their activities as status updates whenever they scan their wristbands onto a RFID reader located at each Hennessy Mixing booth. Talk about technology taking over this superb clubbing experience! It just enhances this event further and brings it up to a level high above the rest. I can't wait to get my hands on one!

H-Artistry : Global Art of Mixing 2010

First off, thanks to my brother who invited me along for this adventure =)

Hennessy Artistry aka H-Artistry is the epitome of clubbing experiences. Having previously mesmerize attendees in LA and Paris, it has arrived at our shores and promises to leave you asking for more. 'Mixing' is brought to a whole new level, boasting music talents from around the globe on the same stage.

As great as the performances were, let's not forget the highlight of the event - the drinks. Well, since it's an event organized by Hennessy, we were of course served with Hennessy drinks throughout the night. Not only that, but we were taught to mix our own drinks from one of the four flavours - Berry, Apple, Citrus and Ginger Ale. We were coached by the French Ambassador of Hennessy and given a booklet to further experiment on our own with the delicious cognac.

I believe a picture paints a thousand words so here you go. Without further adieu, the greatest party thus far, the H-Artistry!

Hello everyone!

In case you're wondering, I'm one of the contributors of this blog and yes, I'm still alive! Sorry that I have not posted anything YET. Been kinda busy but I found time to attend the H-Artistry on the 23rd of October, 2010 at the MINES Convention Center, KL and it was one GREAT event!

Kinda in a rush to finish off some things but just to tickle your taste buds (I mean it literally), here are some pictures for you to get an idea of what the global art of mixing is all about ;)
