Hello helllo, everyone!

Can you believe that it's already MAY?! *panics* 
My finals are just around the corner! *shrieks* And after feeling unmotivated for a couple of weeks, falling sick, recovering and just wanting to lay in bed until someone drags me back up onto my own two feet, I've decided that it's time to stop procrastinating. Maybe this has something to do with me turning 18. I dunno. Or perhaps I just needed time to play dead in order to do some soul searching. I presume that I'm feeling this way as I'm still undecided about my future. It can get REALLY frustrating at times. I'm sure everyone of us has felt this way before. The most important thing is picking yourself back up (no matter how). 

And to encourage everyone out there to get through this gloomy phase, here's YG ON AIR's video of Park Bom covering 'You & I' as well as 'Don't Cry' in acoustic! She has breathtaking vocals and I swear she sounds exactly the same as her released audio, if not better. This girl just never fails to impress me. ahahaa. Enjoy the video! :)

IT'S APRIL 27TH!!!

Hello Hello!

It's finally here! THE day has arrived! What's all the fuss about the 27th of April, you ask? It is the BIRTHDAY of our very own (MAIN) blogger, SJ! It is the time to celebrate our hardworking blogger who continuously updates the blog with contents that interest you while having to bear with me - the phantom blogger.

First and foremost, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my baby sister! Although I really don't think you're anything close to a baby sister considering you're taller and you bully me around =P

I might not be able to be in person to celebrate with you, but you do know I'm there in spirit =D Thank you very much for always being there through the ups and downs, highs and lows, good and bad...you get the idea ;) As great as a sister you have been to me, always remember that I am ever ready to be here for you. Well, provided I'm not sleeping due to the time difference but that's another case =P

Just to let you know what you mean to me, here goes :

S- Someone who would spend the time to hear me out, no matter when
I-  Insists on something even when I disagree, because it's the best for me
S- Stays up at night with me (in spirit) to help me study for exams ;)
T- Tells me off as and when you like - how did that happen again?!?!
E- Entertains me with lame jokes that only we seem to get
R- Rummages through the fridge with me especially during exam

BIG BANG'S STUPID LIAR, LOVE SONG & BABY DON'T CRY ACAPELLA

Seriously, as if the original track of Big Bang's songs aren't mind-blowing enough, YG Entertainment decided to release acapella versions of Stupid Liar, Love Song and Baby Don't Cry. *dies* 
It's really refreshing to hear their crystal clear voices and there's no doubt that these boys can sing! I've read so many positive feedbacks and comments on how impressed VIPs were when they heard the members singing without the background music. Everything that Big Bang does appeal to me and here's just another example that enforces my love towards Big Bang.

TOP's voice when he raps is soooo sexay and GD has the most original vocals I've ever heard. Both their voices are extremely significant, you can NEVER miss it. Then comes Taeyang, Seungri and Daesung's sweet vocals that wraps the whole song into a warm bun and it goes straight into your mouth. When it finally settles in your stomach, it's already too late as you're addicted to the taste and you realize that you're unconsciously picking up your next bun! WAIT! WARM BUN? WHAT? DID I JUST SAY THAT?


Anywayyyyyy, without further ado, I present you, fantastic acapellas!


Listening to Stupid Liar, you'll realize that most of the background sounds actually come from them and not the music! (Even all the howling sounds!) They sound great and it doesn't matter whether this song is accompanied by music or not, you can't help but bop to the song as it's being played.



Seriously, TOP's voice at the start totally melted my heart. How can a voice that deep and husky be so sexy? SERIOUSLY! Then comes Daesung's voice which makes you go ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. And GD's voice which makes you go ooooohhhhhhhhhhh. And Taeyang and Seungri's voice which made me go....YOU GET THE DRILL! 




Everyone knows that Daesung is one of the main vocals in the group but honestly, he's still so underrated! For the first 20 seconds, I was like, whaaaaaaaaaaaatttt but my goosebumps appeared out of no where as I heard Daesung's voice serenading me starting from the 21st second. He possesses such a calm and gentle yet powerful voice that never fails to amaze me. The most important point that I would like to emphasize is that every time Daesung sings, I can really feel his sincerity. <3

PARK BOM (박봄) - DON'T CRY (ENG SUBBED/1080p HD)

HELLLOOO HELLLOOO! :D

After all the hype about Park Bom's new solo song, Don't Cry, the music video was just released a few days ago and I waited till there was an English subbed video before posting it up here. (I know, I know, I'm so nice) HEEEE :D




I know that the song's about her lost love but is the guy dead? The lines "Someday, we'll meet again. In our next life, we will see each other again". That shows that he's gone, right? RIGHT?! Ahahaha. I read a lot of comments about how Park Bom looks awkward and stiff in the music video and although I love her, I'd have to agree too. I'm not gonna go into the topic of plastic surgery and all that stuff but honestly, the music video would have been better if she expressed it a little more.

But the main point why we love Park Bom so much is because of her vocals so we should just concentrate on the beauty of the song. The mixture of House beats doesn't do justice to her fantastic vocals but I'm already addicted to this song as it's on constant replay in my playlist :D


Can't wait for 2NE1 TV Season 3!!

HENNESSY ARTISTRY 2011, HERE I COME!

What's up, peeps? :D
I have great news for y'all!

IT'S FINALLY HERE! IT'S BACK AT OUR SHORES AND READY TO SWEEP US OFF OUR FEET ONCE AGAIN!

If you guys have checked out last year's blog post on Hennessy Artistry posted by PJ and liked what you saw, be prepared for more mind-blowing coverage as I will be attending the country's most talked about party, H-Artistry "The Global Art of Mixing" this year. To those of you who have no clue on what Hennessy Artistry is all about, let's just say that you can expect rocking music, tantalizing Hennessy V.S.O.P signature long drinks, a wild crowd and most importantly, it's a night for you to let loose. 


I mean, seriously, I don't know if it's just me but college is becoming so stressful these days, I'm barely surviving. Is everyone feeling that way or did April's fool depart a little earlier than expected? It must be the upcoming mocks and examinations that's driving me up the wall. Well, at least now I have the Hennessy Artistry on the 30th of April to close this "depressing" month with a BANG!

Not only that, party-goers coming into the party this year will receive a new radio-frequency identification (RFID) wristband that allows them to log on to their respective Facebook accounts and automatically post their activities as status updates whenever they scan their wristbands onto a RFID reader located at each Hennessy Mixing booth. Talk about technology taking over this superb clubbing experience! It just enhances this event further and brings it up to a level high above the rest. I can't wait to get my hands on one!

WHY DO I RESPECT BIG BANG TO THIS GREAT EXTENT?

Hello peeps!

I'm sure you guys have realized the NUMEROUS posts dedicated to Big Bang's comeback and random updates on their activities. In case you're puzzled as to why I've taken such interest in this k-pop group or why I'm giving them my personal preference, first, please watch the video attached below.

As you can tell from the video, G-dragon (leader of Big Bang) is SUCH a respectable man. Not only is he the leader of this spectacular group, he is also a lyricist, a producer, a composer and on top of that, he is a member who gives his best whenever he's on stage. The best part is that he puts his all into his work and makes it fun for all VIPs around the world to watch Big Bang. While doing all that, he has a big smile on his face. How can ANYONE not respect this man with multiple talents? It's safe for me to say that GD and Teddy are the brains behind every album they have produced. I mean, honestly, can you say the same for other groups out there?

As for TOP who has the most significant voice I've ever heard, contributes to albums by writing his own lyrics to rap parts that he's in charge of. Although as many of you have already seen his famous 'ChoomTop' video, his dancing skills may not be of Taeyang's standards but you can tell how hard he has worked to be in sync with the whole group. Did I also mention that he's not only a singer but an actor as well? He hopes to show the audience/ fans a different side of him and wants to earn respect and love from us. (He has mine, definitely! <3) He may be a gentle giant (since he's 180 cm tall) who looks a little awkward at times but his efforts are definitely commendable and truly, how can you not love a manly face like his? :D

To erase that from your head, here's TOP'S solo- TURN IT UP (ENG SUB)

Taeyang, taeyang, taeyang. The main vocals of the group. His sweet voice functions as a glue for the whole group. When his voice is added to any song, it compliments the other members and makes the track THAT MUCH BETTER to listen to. Not only that, Taeyang's dancing skills are not to be made fun of as he is such an awesome dancer. His body (full of muscles) is proof to how hard he has worked and that he's a health freak too (not that that's bad though). Taeyang's personality might be shy but behind that shy smile lies a man that's always striving for the best in everything that he does.

SEXYYYY TAEYANG FOR YAH! :D

Daesung, the group's clown! His bright personality serves as an energy booster to other members and his crazy actions make him so interesting to watch. If you've watched Family Outing before, you'd understand why I've said so. The Dorky Brothers (Jaesuk and Daesung), for the world! :D  Although I've came across many harsh comments by netizens commenting on how Daesung doesn't have a face fit for idols, I would disagree with those comments. If a person's talents are overlooked just because he/ she does not possess the 'perfect face', doesn't that reflect very badly on the person who's passing on the judgement? Daesung may not be the best looking artist out there but his mellow voice and sincere heart when delivering songs are fantastic. You can't find this innocent man anywhere else other than in Big Bang. 

DAESUNG- BABY DON'T CRY (ENG SUB)

Seungri, maknae of Big Bang has the capability to be adorable as well as sexy in front of the camera (remember Strong Baby?). In my opinion, Seungri might still be a little immature (personality wise) but he always puts his best foot forward when it comes to working. Besides that, it's very fun to watch his relationship with his hyungs as he admires them so much. It's nice to see him disturbing the other members, thus alleviating some stress off everyone's shoulders. There's definitely more room for improvement and he's just a little boy that's yet to grow up :)
