2NE1 TV SEASON 3 (EPISODE 7- LIVE WORLDWIDE)

Episode 7 starts off by showing the girls getting ready in Singapore for their Korean Music Wave Concert. Maknae Mingkki struts her stuff by demonstrating some serious power walking or perhaps just power in the corridors of their hotel rooms. Then we get to see Bigbang in their dressing rooms where Seungri complained about how his clothes won't fit anymore since he's still growing and Taeyang just brushes off this matter and says that Seungri grew fatter. LOLL. TOP even remarked that Seungri lost 2kgs of muscle. Poor thing. ahahah. But I'm sure his hyungs were just teasing him for fun. No harm intended. And I HAVE to mention how dorky and adorable TOP was when he stole Minzy's ipad(?) and started messing around with it. It's great seeing how they bond :)

And Dara even said Se7en told them that if their voices were incorporated into a GPS Navigation System, it would sell well. I agree with him on that! Having Bommie's voice telling you, "You better go straight" in that funny tone would just make you laugh. Even Dara's probable, "Make a right turn because I feel good today" would crack me up. Honestly, any one of the girl's unique and funny personalities would sell anything they endorse in. That's what I think anyway. And FINALLY, we get to see cuts of their performance in Singapore. Performing 'Fire', 'I Am The Best' and 'I Don't Care', they blew off their audience! It's funny seeing how Big Bang was seated calmly in their seats while watching 2ne1 perform though considering how the fans were going wilddddddd in the background. I guess they're just used to observing 2ne1's AWESOMENESS. heheee. Then, Big Bang hits the stage with their track 'Tonight' and I'm sure it was an amazing peformance as well. I want a Big Bang / 2ne1 concert in Malaysia! Of course Daesungie has to be present as well <3

In the plane heading back to Korea, Dara catches the other three sleeping and she's right, they're way too cute :3  Then we get a change of scene to 2ne1's music video shoot of 'Ugly'. Right after their shoot is over, they rush home, get changed and proceed to the airport to fly to Japan. The whole YG family boards the plane and were trippin' over Dara's tattoo. It's cute seeing them interact with each other and I've just gotta say, the plane seats look so comfortable! Anyway, if you were wondering why the whole YG family had to fly over to Japan, it's because they're having a joint ceremony between YG Entertainment and Avex! The girls were all fatigued and waiting to drop dead on their beds but they still got ready for the ceremony nonetheless. Then we get TOP & Se7en! :D The two were being really ridiculous and yet, you can't help but smile. WHAT KINDA AEGYO IS THATTTT?! I CAN'T EVEN.. ahahahahhaa. BOTH of them were such a tease but entertaining. VERY ENTERTAINING. I assure you. ahahah. Gotta love this pair! <3  Can you imagine dating TOP? (since Se7en is taken by Park Hanbyul). I CAN! I CAN! AHAHAHA! :D 


AND OMGGGGGGGGG, I FEEL LIKE I'VE JUST HEARD SOME KINDA CONFESSION WHEN GD SAID, "I heard I'm Dara nuna's ideal type." LIKE OMGGGG! I swear something is going on between them! Okay, maybe not swear. But I can sense it! ahahah. You feel like it's a cover up when gd quickly goes, "I don't date within the YG family." LIKE WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU NOT? lol. Does he know how many Daragon shippers there are out there? *STARES*

SCENT OF A WOMAN (여인의 향기)

Sighh. Where do I even begin about this amazing drama? Oh, right. Synopsis!

A woman, Lee Yeon Jae, is given the grim prognosis that she only has a short time left to live. She decides to quit her job at a travel agency and live her life to the fullest.

So, I know what most of you must be thinking. "SHE'S GONNA DIE?!?!" 
I have no idea myself since there's only 10 out of 16 episodes out so far. But regardless of how this drama is going to end, I can say that this is probably the BEST Korean drama we're gonna get in 2011. In 2010, it was Secret Garden and I think this is it for this year, guys. ALL my fingers and toes are crossed for this drama to have a happy ending so I hope the script writers and director would take note of that!

Often at the wink of death, we begin to truly live our lives the way we want to. And I guess, it's the same for Lee Yeon Jae (Kim Sun Ah) as she's this shabby looking 34 year old that tries her very best to save up every penny for her "future" that is vanishing as the clock ticks. After finding out that she has cancer, she wanted to live life to the fullest and that included falling in love. This is where hottie Kang Ji Wook (Lee Dongwook) comes into the picture. He portrays the perfect heir to his father's travel agency and although he has always had that cool appearance, deep down inside, something in him died when his mother passed away. However, after meeting the bubbly Yeon Jae, he starts to take interest in things he's doing (which normally doesn't happen) and decides to live HIS OWN life from then on. The story is full of romance with a hint of comedy. COMEDY, DIRECTORS! Doesn't that say a lot on how this drama is supposed to end?! 

Anyway, I honestly haven't felt this way about other dramas after Secret Garden ended. Scent of a Woman has so many romantic and sweet scenes that has got me squealing in excitement! The cast is great too as they portray their characters very well and the chemistry between Lee Dongwook and Kim Sunah is just a work of art! They're both such talented actors and I can't imagine replacing them with any other actors. I also love how this drama AMPLIFIES even the slightest of touch between these two in order to highlight their growing relationship and affections for each other. Since there's also the element of tango in this drama and tango is known to be a sexy and seductive dance, it makes the drama THAT MUCH MORE interesting to watch. I mean, when the two leads were beginning to learn the dance and Yeon Jae placed her hands on Ji Wook's chest for him to guide the dance, it literally made MY HEART stop. It's like, they realized there and then that they were made for each other and every time they touch (even though it's nothing big), it completes the little pieces of puzzles in my heart. Like, have you felt this way before? Your heart feels all warm and fuzzy just watching OTHER PEOPLE fall in love. ahahaha! THIS DRAMA IS THATTT GOOODDDD! And like I've already mentioned before, the two leads for this drama is superb! I remember in the second episode after Yeon Jae just found out that she was gonna die and was reflecting on how all the money she has been trying to save up has been in vain, I felt so sad for her. When she cried, it made me cry. It's this kind of dramas that I want to watch and continue watching, you know? Where you can feel the character's pain and weep with them, cry happy tears or go, "OMO OMO OMO OMO!" when a romantic scene comes up. It's not often that we get swept off our feet by a worthy drama but this is it. A good plot, fantastic cast, romance and a VERY DEDICATED VIEWER (me!), what else can you ask for?

KIM JUNSU- YOU ARE SO BEAUTIFUL (SCENT OF A WOMAN OST)

One word to describe this soundtrack would be: AMAZING. Seriously, Junsu never disappoints when it comes to singing. Or dancing, for that matter. ahaha. He is one of Korea's finest singers and his distinctive voice CANNOT be found anywhere else on this earth. And no, I'm NOT exaggerating. Have you ever came across anyone that has that same dolphin-like yet husky voice that Junsu possesses? NO, RIGHT? And he just puts so much emotions into the lyrics he's singing, I'm always at lost for words and just moved by his voice. If you have a heart, you will be moved too. ahaha. JOKE! JOKE! I JOKE! :p


So, about the lyrics for this song. It's really beautiful yet sad. Even the first few lines of “I am crying now looking into your eyes, I am crying looking into your heart. I want to hold you, even in your bitter smile forcing yourself to be bright”. If you are watching the drama (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED-TILL EP. 8 AT LEAST CAUSE I'M STUCK THERE!!), you would understand the pain that Junsu portrays of a man who wants to embrace his love for she has been wandering at the ends of this cold world alone. He hopes that his love can comfort her day by day and wishes that she would hold his memories in her heart. Because in his eyes, she is this beautiful creature that seeps into his heart and he is able to accept even her spreading wounds. For she is wonderful, her painful love and tears wipe away his painful wounds. Reminding her to keep in mind of how much they loved, he wants to live by memories of only her. I hope these lyrics aren't an indication of how this drama would end though! T____________T

2NE1 TV SEASON 3 (EPISODE 6- LIVE WORLDWIDE)

WASSUP, EVERYONE? :D
Episode 6 starts off with 2ne1 winning first place on M!Countdown for their FIRST performance of 'Ugly'. *applause* The girls were extremely excited and showed off the trophy well :D Then during their practice for the 'Nolza Concert', Bom forgot that she ate jajangmyun for breakfast and tried to deny it. Why is she so cute? ahaha. And I've seen a lot of comments on how YG is too strict on 2ne1 and even meanly said that they looked "stupid" during an interval of the dance but I don't think it's that serious. I mean, it's all just constructive criticisms. Without him being honest and guiding them forward, 2ne1 wouldn't be where they are now. He knows what he's doing, so it's all good. Chilllllll, guyyysss! :) And as CL & Dara suggest, when life gets tough, turn to music. I do that too and honestly, it helps a lot. Find a song where you can relate to the lyrics and if there's even a need to cry, I think it would be best to just express yourself. Okay, I'm just saying that cause I'm a crybaby. You don't have to crryyy :p
 We even get to see some footage from their Singapore concert rehearsals and once again, I would like to emphasize that someday, one day, VERY VERY SOON, I'm gonna make sure I see them performing liveeeeee! I can already feel the excitement! gahhhh! Can youuuu? :D

I hate being the youngest! I have to witness everyone LEAVING ME BEHIND and nobody feels sad for me when I leave (parents don't count). LOL. Anyway, I just wanted you to know how lonely I'm going to be once you leave. Since we have the habit of disturbing each other when we're bored, it breaks my spirit when I think about walking into your empty room :(((  Even the thought of conquering your room doesn't seem so appealing at times like these. And I would like to apologize for not helping you pack (just like how I ignored PJ and pretended like nothing was going on) BECAUSE (yes, I have my reasons) if I helped you pack with my own hands, it would make me feel like I'm sending you away quicker. And I didn't want that. Ugh, I hate this feeling. 


Anyway, have a safe flight and may you have an awesome study trip abroad! Soak everything in as it happens and just enjoy yourself. Not too much though.

Episode 5 is outtt! Proving the genius that Teddy already is, this episode reveals how the beats for 'Ugly' came about. From a simple guitar loop matched with strong kick drums and full English lyrics packed for the chorus, the song became what it is today. Perfect. Not only that, Teddy made a shocking revelation about 2ne1's single, 'Hate You' which ORIGINALLY was supposed to be 'F*** You'. ahahha. If I do go to Korea one day, I mean, WHEN I go to Korea, I would definitely visit the NB Club to listen to the original version :D  I'm sure it doesn't just mean BADDD things in the context of their lyrics. It's more of a freedom of expression? Ahahaa.

And we also get to see the girls continuing their shoot for the music video of Ugly! The girls are hilarious and fun on set as usual, with CL randomly thanking her mum because apparently her mum got jealous since she wasn't mentioned on 2ne1 TV. LOLL. Besides that, I totally get Bommie when she talked about her body proportions and not being able to wear a crop top. People with longer legs will have a shorter upper torso, so it's a little sad since we barely have a waist. Anyway, I'm just talking about myself. Don't get offended, okayyyyyyyyy? Love you! <3

Bet you've been waiting for updates on our favourite girl group - 2NE1!!!

This episode shows the making of their latest hit- UGLY. At first I was shocked how they could come up with this song, saying they're ugly considering how 2NE1 has been representing female empowerment and being comfortable in your own skin. BUT.....after looking for the English subs to the lyrics and listening to it again, the song just GROWS on you and well, you just can't ignore the AWESOME BEATS in it! And the meaningful lyrics on female insecurity with their looks (well, every girl has experienced this once so I believe most girls relate. Maybe guys too)

Anyway, SJ has previously posted their official MV and I'm sure you'd agree it's ONE OF A KIND!!! It's always amazing how 2NE1 pulls off incredible styles that are so distinct to their individual personality and the group's character as a whole. You really see how much work the girls put into this video, despite CL's arm being slightly burned, Dara falling asleep everywhere and Bom getting a blister. That's COMMITMENT!

AHAHAHA. Sorry about that but Jaejoong's my bias, you see. kekeke. Anyway, that's not the main point. Jaejoong, who's currently starring in the drama, 'Protect The Boss' has self-written and self-composed this BEAUTIFULLLLLLL and FLAWLESSSSSS song called 'I'll Protect You'. His voice is just breathtaking and he has such a capability to project the emotions of the song so very well. Like when he's singing the lines, "Would you be happy if you were to leave me?", "I am not able to let you go even with that because it will hurt more than death", the subtle "I love you", "I can't give you up to the arms of any other" and "Why is my heart unable to let you go?". Ahhhh, killll me! JUST KILL ME! If you know want to know which part I'm referring to, pay close attention to the change in his voice from 2:12 onwards.

The lyrics is about a man who learns true love and wishes to protect the woman he has set his eyes upon. Feeling like his misery would fade away the moment he sees her face, his feelings for her grows stronger, loving her and all her flaws. He then becomes worried that this woman he loves would leave him, so he fights for this love. Standing before his beloved, he holds on tightly to her hands and swear to never let go, refusing to send her into anyone else's arms. *awwwwwww*

UNDATEABLE MEN

So, the word #undateable was trending on Twitter the other day and I was thinking of qualities that would make a guy totally undateable to me. And guess what? I just met one in college the other day. I was rushing to class after buying my lunch and just as I was about to pass through the fire escape door into the common room, this dude (bitch!) came charging towards me. I thought since I was already halfway through the door, he would just move aside and let me pass first (like how ANY NORMAL GUY would) but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! 
He decides that his grandfather owns the whole building and he should be treated like a king. So he just pushed his way through and forced me to move backwards in order for him to go through the door first. And the worst part was, one of his friends witnessed this and said, "DUDDDDEEEE!" trying to tell him that what he has done was RUDE but all that BITCH said was, "I DON'T CAREEEEE~~~" and walked off. And I know what you must be thinking right now, I should totally have kicked him in the balls and said, "HOPE YOU ROT IN HELL, BITCH :)" but everything happened so quickly and to be honest, I was pretty much shocked and speechless. Yeah, I know!

SPEECHLESS. What on earth is going on?

So, just a short reminder to all you guys out there WHO STILL THINKS THEY'RE WORTH BEING CALLED A GUY, let alone a gentleman, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE show some manners! Prove to women that chivalry isn't dead! Just a small gesture like holding the door for someone behind you shouldn't be too much to ask for, right? It doesn't matter if the person behind you is a girl or a guy. Does it take so much effort to hold the door for ONE person? I mean, obviously you don't just stand there all day and open the door for every single person =_______________=  you know what I'm talking about!

And it would be nice if you stop shoving all the girls you see at the bus stop just so you can get on the bus. You see, the thing is, in HELP college, we have this very retarded transportation system where we have to travel from the main block (where we park) to the KPD (where the classrooms are located) EVERY SINGLE DAY! And I'm sooooooooo sick and tired of having to push and shove my way through the crowds in order to get on the bus. It makes me feel rude too. One of my friend had this encounter with a guy who pulled her bag when she was just about to go on the bus and as a result of that, she stumbled backwards and what's NOT surprising was that, the guy quickly climbed on the bus and took her spot. So much for being a gentleman, huh? I mean, seriously, in this day and age, we don't expect you to give up your seat to strangers but what we ask is for you to show some chivalry! No, you don't need the qualifications of a knight, just treating us the way we want to be treated would be nice. I know what all the guys must be thinking now, "BUT GIRLS ARE SUCH BITCHES THESE DAYS AND EVEN WHEN WE TREAT THEM NICELY, THEY WANT TO BE "INDEPENDENT", AND SCREW WITH OUR SINCERITY AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF US AND ETC." Okay, fine. I know there are some bitches out there who don't deserve such royal treatments. So, please. Recognize the faces of bitches and princesses. If they're not giving you the "UGH" face, then at least TRY to be a little courteous.

Don't just act chivalrous in front of your girlfriends! You might just fall in love with the girl you shoved while trying to get on the bus. You never know. You just never know.

Sorry for the delay of Episode 4! Besides being occupied with my college work, I've just been tired. Yeah, that's my excuse for everything. But oh well, you can't exactly be sick of life when there's so much good music going around, can you? :)

It's so addictive! And it has a good tune too (I mean, what can I say? They're 2NE1, yo!). And yesssss, I know that the song is meant to be empowering....but sad. But empowering, nonetheless. I know this song was released a long time ago but I keep forgetting to post it up. hehe. Sorry! So, anyway, this was part of the soundtrack for Yoochun's latest drama, Miss Ripley, which ended not too long ago. And honestly, trying to comment on this song is no easy task. I mean, if you listen carefully to the lyrics, it's about a man loving a woman so much but not being able to express his love to her outwardly. In order for the other party to live happily, he pushes her away and tries to hide his affections but there'll always be an empty space in his heart for her? Do you get it? ahahahahaha.
